“It's time to turn a spotlight on mental health.”

Today, two of our staff were able to join many others at the capitol building for Mental Health Day on the Hill presented by the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI).

Advocates and legislators from across the state spoke about policy changes and bills being presented to the House of Representatives and Senate. Many of these proposals could help to create better access and affordability in mental health treatment, as well as create better community programs and resources specifically for underserved communities.

It was amazing to see the strength and passion put into advocating for real change within the mental health community.

Thank you to NAMI, the Mental Health Legislative Network, and all of the other amazing groups and legislators that make it possible for our community to have a voice.

Our providers were given the opportunity to expand their knowledge about Neurofeedback and its practical applications within the mental health field and beyond. As part of our ongoing commitment for provider education we have started a regular Speaker Series for our providers to ensure that we are constantly learning and providing the best care possible. Stay tuned for more updates and information as we share our experiences!

Neurofeedback is a state-of-the-art, non-invasive method for training your brain to function in a more balanced, healthy way. It can be used to increase cognitive skills and peak performance, or to reduce unwanted symptoms.
