During these challenging times, I understand that accessing counseling services can be difficult for some, which is why I have decided to offer virtual sessions. This means that regardless of your location, you can now benefit from my guidance and support.

Allow the space for grief to stretch out its beauty and sing out its pain— to be cherished in remembrance as part of love’s story.

Active mourning is letting your grief emotions circulate through the channels of your heart and make their way out into the open. Talk about the loss and allow the bereaved to express what is no longer. Make ceremony and pay tribute in a way that honors the truth of their existence. Create a grief ritual by visiting a place, making a meal, or holding an item your loved one enjoyed. Light a candle at a special time. Write a letter that tells the story of your connection and where you’re at in your process today. Journal, sing, play music, go into nature to touch your sorrow. The anguish is real and so was the experience. Let your heart have space to speak about the feelings it’s been holding—even as you live in the present. Even as you carry out the normalities of an ever-unfolding life.
