We ❤️ our furry friends!
This week during lifeskills activities at our Day Program, participants repurposed bread by making peanut butter, bacon, and butter flavored dog treats for our four legged friends at St. Martin Animal Shelter.
Best part? Getting to peresonally deliver and see those sweet pups enjoy their homemade tasty treats!🦴

The Arc of St. Martin is pleased to announce its partnership with Breaux Bridge High School’s “Operation Hope Tree”.

“Operation Hope Tree” is a heartfelt service-learning project put on by BBHS Jobs for American Graduates (JAG) students. This initiative is not only about giving a tree, it is about planting seeds of hope, kindness, and inspiration in the community. The Hope Tree serves as a symbol of encouragement for those who may need a reminder that they are valued and supported.

The Hope Tree can be found at our Breaux Bridge thrift location. Check it out next time you’re in store!

Arc participants had the best time today dropping off all the generous donations from our community and paying a visit to their furry friends.

Participants were given a tour of the shelter facility and introduced to all the shelters residents by Mrs. Pinky and her companion, Piglet. So much fun was had that one of our new found friends even tried to hitch hike a ride back to our day program!

Thank you St. Martin Animal Shelter for partnering with us for our first donation drive, “Paws for a Cause”.
