Yesterday afternoon we were all blown away by Ricky Howsare and his absolutely amazing voice! The residents adored him and cant wait for him to come back again soon!!

We have had a busy couple months but I would like to share some photos of all our fun in March and beginning of April.

We made homemade tootsie rolls, made a delicious salad for lunch, enjoyed Kane Guitar Bands' Irish spirit, celebrated National Puppy day with lots of doggy kisses, planted flowers, danced and enjoyed Jim Shaffer and friends music, filled and colored Easter eggs, and even had our own resident Easter egg hunt!! 😀

March is in the air! We have been spoiled with a few nice days which our residents have loved!! Here is to a wonderful March Filled with joy, laughter, love, and community! Can't forget St. Patrick's Day too!! 😀

Good Afternoon. Our facility is excited to participate in the Shamrocks Across America, connecting senior communities and facilities in all 50 States!

We invite families to help your loved one decorate a shamrock and write a cheerful message to share to another facility within our beautiful 50 states. We will also receive shamrocks from other facilities to display on our Shamrocks Across America Map. Each Shamrock we receive represents kindness, community, and a reminder that our residents are surrounded by people who care nationwide.

Your involvement means so much and brings smiles, comfort, and joy to those who call our home their home. Feel free to stop by the Activities Room to pick up a shamrock to decorate. Thank you for being such an important part of our community!! If you are a family member that lives afar, feel free to decorate a Shamrock of your own to send to our facility!!

A huge shout out to such an wonderful community we live in!! Thank you to everyone who purchased/donated balloons at Dollar Tree for our residents at Elk Haven and Silver Creek Terrace. We received 500 balloons to pass out to the residents and use as decorations. We also received donated carnations from the local school as well!!

We are all so blessed to have such a supportive community!!! 🎈 ❤️ 🎈 💗 🎈 ❣️

February has been full of fun and love at Silver Creek Terrace so far. From making bird feeders with cookie cutters, national frozen yogurt day, to making some valentines day crafts, love songs from the Kane Guitar, and an amazing performance from The Singing Dutchmen. We are only half way through the month 😀

It sure has been a COLD and SNOWY January but February is right around the corner to snuggle up and spread some love! 🥰

Taking a moment tonight to say THANK YOU to our staff at Silver Creek Terrace and Elk Haven Nursing Home for taking on the winter storm to make sure our residents are taken care of! We appreciate all you do and the sacrifices you make!!
Thank you to all the essential workers from the cooks to the road crew!
