Hold this position for 5 minutes daily

This is a simple variation of Child’s Pose that can help your body slow down and release tension.

By reaching your arms forward, you create length through your back, especially in the thoracic spine and shoulders. This can help reduce stiffness and tightness that often build up from sitting or stress.

At the same time, this position puts your body into a calm and stable posture where you can focus on your breathing.

If you breathe slowly through your nose and make your exhales longer, you support your nervous system in shifting out of a stressed state into a more relaxed one.

This combination of position and breathing can help your whole body feel calmer and more at ease.

Make sure you stay comfortable and don’t force yourself into a deep stretch.

Even a few minutes can help reduce tension and give your body a break from daily stress.
