"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His fight for equality laid the groundwork for many social justice movements that followed, including the Disability Rights Movement.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 didn't just open doors; it provided the blueprint for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) decades later. Dr. King taught us that rights are not given—they are claimed through courage, organization, and unyielding advocacy.

At Capabilities, we recognize that the work is not finished. True justice means a world where everyone—regardless of race, ability, or background—has equal access to opportunity.
