Today We Feature Slants — With or Without a Base

Key Features of Slant Memorials:

Slant memorials are upright headstones that are 10 inches wide at the bottom and taper to approximately 3 inches at the top. From the side, they have a triangular profile.

You have the option to:

The slant will be placed directly on the 3-foot deep solid concrete footer, or you can add a granite base. When a granite base is added, the base sits directly on the 3-foot deep solid concrete footer and then the slant is set on the base.

Slants, with or without a base allows for even more personalization, including:

- Vases for flowers
- Statues

- Metal medallions
- Additional engraving space (including the back for family names)

A bevel marker (also called a pillow marker) is a type of cemetery headstone designed to sit on a 3 ft deep solid concrete footer. It is raised about 8 inches in the back and tapers up to 6 inches in the front, creating an angle for better visibility of the lettering and artwork.

This morning, our crew was out taking the time to clean the veterans memorials around town. Making sure they look the best they can on this Memorial Day weekend! We would like to take the time and say thank you to all the brave man and women that put their lives on the line to keep us safe at home.
