It is important to manage stress because it can put your health at risk.
Not only that, but it can also make you feel irritable or upset.
So you see, stress is a physical and mental destroyer, really.
Why is that? Well, mainly because stress has the tendency to shut down our growth and immunity because the body is trying to survive, not thrive.
And though the modern-day world puts us at risk of chronic stress, there are things you can do to mitigate the effects of stress and manage its occurrence.
The AAA method has a name that pretty much sounds like our reaction during stress... But really, it is a wonderful way to manage stress.
It implies Altering, avoiding, and accepting.
First off, you have to recognize the sources of stress and alter your actions towards it.
Secondly, avoiding means learning how to put yourself out of situations you don't necessarily have to be in.
Acceptance is the third and final thing to do, and it entails building resistance towards the stress factors and choosing not to react.
