Exciting news! Metro Pain Associates has officially partnered with Commonwealth Pain & Spine, a respected leader in interventional pain management. This partnership beginning on July 1st, 2025, will allow us to enhance our services while continuing the same high level of care you've come to expect.

What does this mean for our patients?
➡️Your office location, doctor, and treatment plan will stay the same. Dr. Reasor will continue seeing patients and leading care as he always has.

PROCEDURAL SEDATION CHANGES

Effective November 15, 2024 Metro Pain Associates will no longer be providing intravenous procedural sedation for our in-office procedures.

This change was made necessary due to ever-shrinking reimbursement by insurance companies to the point where we cannot afford to provide this service. The cost of medication and monitoring has created too great of a financial burden on the practice to continue.

Our new policy will be that, if a patient wishes to have sedation, he or she will be allowed to take their normal dose of oral pain medication the day of the procedure and, if desired, one Va**um 5mg-10mg will be sent into the pharmacy to be taken 30 minutes prior to the start of your procedure. Of course, you will still need to have a driver in this instance.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this policy change.
