Atlantic Institute of Aromatherapy The Institute provides a wide array of classes: one day Intro, two day Basic, a Certificate Program and correspondence courses for home study.

Founded in 1989 the Institute's mission is to further the education standards in all aspects of Aromatherapy, by providing a comprehensive resource for the professional or layperson interersted in this fast-growing holistic therapy. THE ATLANTIC INSTITUTE OF AROMATHERAPY, located in Tampa, Florida, was established in 1989 to provide quality information, education, and resources in the field of Aromatherapy. Classes and correspondence course can provide Florida Continuing Education Credits for licensed massage therapists.

We also wanted to build an online community to further support our students and friends, and we also wanted to make available the wealth of knowledge that experienced aromatherapists have to share.

Want an Aromatic home but don’t have any essential oils? 😀🏡

Or maybe you’re just in the mood for some easy DIY aromatherapy.

Scent your kitchen by simmering Aromatic plants like orange, cinnamon, cardamom, bay, and conifer needles in water on the stove. 🍊

Rosemary and whole cloves also make wonderful additions this time of year, but there are so many other combinations to choose from that can make a good simmer pot.

Some other popular favorites include: lemon peels or slices, apple peels or slices, anise, vanilla extract, nutmeg, coffee beans, ginger, lavender, mint leaves, and cranberries.
