What a wonderful day this turned out to be! If you know me...like really know me...you know I LOVE EMPOWERING PEOPLE in general and I especially LOVE EMPOWERING OUR YOUTH! Today I stood in front of 23 young people in grades 5th thru 8th as the after-school Site Coordinator for a local youth program here in Nashville ❤️❤️❤️

It was my first run of the show and like mostly everything I do....it turned out FABULOUS! 👏👏👏

There is a reflection section of the program prior to departure and THE YOUNG PEOPLE had to give me feedback! Let's just say they will be returning on next Monday 😉

My very own curriculum was used and we had a timmmmmmeeee with What Does Empowerment Look Like?🙌

I'm grateful for the people who I have met on this new journey and taking a chance on me off of my passion alone to assist others with being their absolute BEST SELVES AUTHENTICALLY & UNAPOLOGETICALLY 🎊

In the middle of a global pandemic, when the world stood still… I took a leap of faith. I stepped out on a limb and started an entire consulting business dedicated to empowering women.

I didn’t have all the answers, but I had a story. My own personal journey—filled with challenges, heartbreaks, breakthroughs, and healing—became the catalyst for something greater than me. I turned my pain into purpose, and from that space, this vision was born.

What started with a dream has since blossomed into something beautiful:

Juneteenth, celebrated on June 19th, commemorates the day in 1865 when enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, were informed of their freedom under the Emancipation Proclamation, more than two years after it was issued. It's a holiday because it marks the effective end of slavery in the United States and is a day for celebration, remembrance, and education about African American history and culture.

June is National Gun Violence Awareness Month but TODAY is

On January 21, 2013, Hadiya Pendleton marched in President Obama’s second inaugural parade. One week later, Hadiya was shot and killed on a playground in Chicago. Soon after this tragedy, Hadiya’s friends commemorated her life by wearing orange, the color hunters wear in the woods to protect themselves and others.

Wear Orange honors Hadiya and the 125 people shot and killed every day in the United States, along with the hundreds more who are wounded and the countless others whose lives have been changed by gun violence. Wear Orange with us on June 6-8, 2025, to honor survivors and build community with those working to end gun violence.
