The Mighty Knights PULLED IT OUT yesterday!

Last week was a scrimmage week, but this week it all counts for the record book! The Mighty Knights fought hard and got the “W” in both our walking on Tuesday and crank day yesterday!

And during today’s Really Big Show, all of lifespark properties will get to bask in our victory! Proud to be a MIGHTY KNIGHT!

🎉 Staff Appreciation & Teamwork at The Legacy of St. Michael! 🎉

We had an absolute blast celebrating our incredible team at The Legacy of St. Michael during our recent Staff Appreciation/Holiday Party as we head into the new year! 💙 Our staff shows up every day with heart, dedication, and compassion—and this was our way of saying thank you while strengthening teamwork and connection.

The fun included some friendly competition and lots of laughs:

💜 Relay Race Challenge – Team members raced against each other to stack cups using only a balloon. Talk about communication, focus, and teamwork!

💜 Safety Pin Search – With eyes closed, teams competed to find the most safety pins hidden in rice. Its harder than it looks!

💜 Community Ring Hunt – Rings were hidden throughout the facility, encouraging staff to get out into the community, collaborate, connect with residents, and work together to find the most.

The energy, laughter, and team spirit were contagious—and the smiles say it all! 😄
We are so grateful for our amazing staff at The Legacy of St. Michael and can’t wait for more team-building, growth, and fun in the year ahead.

It was CRANK day for SPARK Games today!
We pedaled to the metal using our arms and legs to simulate swimming and biking for our TRYathalon competition!

Spirits were high and so were our counts!

🎉We’ve got spirit, YES WE DO! We’ve got spirit, HOW ‘BOUT YOU?🎉

Team Mighty Knights came in strong for our first scrimmage of the TRYathalon games! We were loud and proud to be a member of the team and represent Legacy of St. Michael!
🌟Mighty Knights are all in and ready to rumble!🌟

What is the TRYathalon? Lifespark hosts these SPARK games challenges, with all Lifespark locations competing against each other. Not only are the games fun, but they hold benefits in physical health and allow residents to further the sense of community with one another. After several weeks of competing, the winning team is awarded prize money for which residents give their input as to how best to use it.

Tuesdays are the Whizzer competition (walking)
Thursdays we simulate swimming and biking with the arm arm and leg crank
Fridays we keep an eye on the competiton and tune in to our ranking
