The way we talk to ourselves shapes everything.
Many of us learned to speak to ourselves with harshness, criticism, or unrealistic expectations, especially after trauma. But healing invites us to shift the narrative with compassion.
Try swapping these old thought patterns with more empowered truths:
❌ “I’m too sensitive.”
✅ “I feel deeply, and that’s a strength.”
❌ “I should be over this by now.”
✅ “Healing isn’t linear, and I’m allowed to take my time.”
❌ “I always mess things up.”
✅ “I’m learning. I don’t have to get it perfect to grow.”
❌ “I can’t trust myself.”
✅ “I’m rebuilding trust with myself one choice at a time.”
