My daughter is 18 months old, barely out of babyhood.
Some words, mostly giggles, glances, and outstretched hands.

She runs through the world like she remembers something the rest of us have forgotten.
Not just how to laugh, or play —
but how to heal.

And when we walk through the world — especially in stores and on nature paths,
something remarkable happens.

She sees them.
The women who’ve weathered decades.
The ones with soft eyes and heavy hearts.
The ones who may have lost something or someone — long ago.

And without hesitation, she runs right up to them.
She pokes their leg or waves her tiny hands,
dances in a circle or hides behind me,
peeking out with sparkly eyes and the promise of a game.

✨PEEK-A-BOO✨

A tiny veil lifted.
A soul saying:
“I see you… do you see me?”

And in that moment,
age disappears.
Grief brings healing not with touch, or words,
but with presence and laughter.
With remembering.

This is her medicine.
Her offering.

Postpartum didn’t go how I planned.
But one small ritual became a lifeline.

When we finally hired an overnight doula — a true angel named Cali from — she brought more than just hands-on help. She brought heart. And tea.

✨ Let’s talk about one of the simplest, most powerful tools I’ve added to my healing journey: grounding mats. 🌍

After my daughter was born, my body was exhausted, inflamed, and recovering from both physical and energetic trauma. That’s when I started sleeping on a full-size grounding mat from — tucked right under my fitted bed sheet.

🌿 Within days, I noticed the pain in my hips and joints easing. My sleep deepened. My nervous system started to calm down a bit.

When my daughter was 3 months old, I added a grounding pillowcase mat under her crib sheet — and it made a real difference. Newborns often struggle to fully ground into their bodies after birth. To the mama who’s quietly struggling — this is for you.

A year ago, my family hit rock bottom. After my daughter was born, her and I both faced constant complications. She screamed inconsolably all day and night for months. People told me “it’s normal”, but my mama heart knew it wasn’t.

The sleep deprivation and unhealed c-section nearly killed me. My husband became dangerously depleted. We hired overnight help just to survive — it drained us emotionally and financially. And though I’m a holistic trauma healer, I was too depleted to access my own tools.

💤 YOGA NIDRA 😴

I used to think naps just weren't possible for me.

No matter how exhausted I was — even during the brutal, sleep-deprived months after my daughter was born — I literally could not fall asleep. My body was wired, my mind was racing, and rest felt impossible.

✨ Then, I discovered Yoga Nidra.

This isn’t your typical meditation — it’s a powerful practice that guides you into a state between waking and sleeping, where your brain waves naturally slow down, your nervous system resets, and your body begins to deeply restore itself. Even if you don’t fall asleep, your body gets the rest it’s craving.
