Nothing beats the smell of fresh coffee cake baking in the kitchen ☕🍰 Our residents had a wonderful time making this sweet treat together, and it turned out just as delicious as it looks.

Our courtyard is putting on a show 🌸 The trees are in full bloom this May, creating a peaceful, beautiful space for our residents to enjoy. It’s the perfect time to step outside, soak in the sunshine, and take in all the color that makes Cerenity Marian feel like home.

In recognition of National Speech-Language-Hearing Month, the focus is on communication. From sharing basic needs to connecting with loved ones, communication is at the heart of daily life. When a person has a speech, language, or cognitive disorder, even simple interactions can become challenging—for them and for the caregivers who support them. With the right strategies, caregivers can reduce frustration and confusion, support independence and confidence, strengthen relationships and daily routines and improve quality of life for those in their care. With professional support and learning practical tools tailored to each person, everyday moments can become more meaningful and manageable.

Our Show & Tell this month at Cerenity Marian was full of creativity and meaningful moments. Residents shared everything from fossils and artwork to dolls and fairy gardens, and we even had a special performance of an original song, “Take Care,” written by one of our residents.

It’s always a joy to see the stories, talents, and passions that make our community so special. 💛
