LAS VEGAS — In this Healio Video Perspective from the ASCRS meeting, Mark C. Lobanoff, MD, discusses his presentation investigating the use of Phorcides software to plan Contoura topography-guided LASIK procedures.

ASCRS 2021 was held in Las Vegas. It was a huge honor to present the results of the Prospective Phorcides Contoura Study. The results show that Phorcides-planned Contoura gave the best visual results of ANY LASIK/refractive surgery study ever done. Anywhere. 100% of eyes achieved 20/20 or better uncorrected vision at their 3 month post-operative visit. 89% achieved 20/15 or better vision uncorrected. 99% of eyes had 0.25 diopters or less residual astigmatism after treatment. This is revolutionary and sets an incredibly high new bar for refractive surgery.
