We’re reaching out to the community on behalf of two of our midwives shared private practice , to kindly assist us in supporting their six clients after they were unexpectedly left without care. They have been providing pro bono services, and the financial strain on Bee and Sasha is significant and unsustainable.

Here are some ways you might be able to help:
* Contribute to the fund
* Share this post with your network
* Organize a fundraiser with your community

We sincerely appreciate your support!

Meals, gift cards and monetary donations are all welcome! You can sign up for their meal train or leave a donation here: https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/gkk943

This family is SO dear to us, can we show them how we lift up postpartum families in this community by filling this meal train up?

Family, friends, birth justice folks, community! We need your help to fund a local Black family seeking to transfer care ASAP.

We believe that Black families have the inherent right to healthcare where we are seen, heard, believed, and SAFE. Healthcare with a provider who looks like and understands us. Healthcare without an increased mortality rate.

We have a local Black family who needs funding for their homebirth. You can help by donating and by helping us BLOW THIS POST UP ✊🏽

Donate via PayPal: paypal.me/bhbimn

Don’t have PayPal? Donate via Venmo at with memo “BHBI Family Fund”

Donations are tax-deductible! Reach out to us for more info or to request a receipt for your donation.

A huge thank you to Anam Cara Therapies, and everyone who donated, contributed, and shared space with us at last weekend’s BHBI brunch benefit. We could feel the love and support in that space and our hearts are full of gratitude for our community.

Your support had a very direct impact for our Twin Cities birthing community. I am so happy to share that we raised enough money to enter a waitlisted family into care!

I have heard so many home birthers say that this model of care and birthing at home were life changing experiences for them, and am so deeply thankful that we are - little by little - ensuring that everyone can access care that makes them feel safe, seen, heard, and supported.

This weekend! Saturday, 5/6 - see you there!
