We’re the O’Rourke Family—Scott, Laura, Big L, Little L, & Rosie—from Rochester, MN. Every Sunday (rain or shine!), we start the day with donuts and spend time exploring nature, building epic blanket forts at home, or head out to the children’s museum or library. We’re so grateful to be on this journey to grow our family through open adoption. We believe in love, honesty, and lifelong connection, and would be honored to walk this path with you.

Hello!

We are Bob & Es.

We live in the Twin Cities metro area with our two lovely labradoodles: Ori & Afi. Our house is located on a little hill with a fenced backyard close to a park and playground and not a far walk from a beautiful lake. We met while living and working abroad, and still love to travel. We also enjoy training in Brazilian jiu jitsu together, listening to and creating music, and game nights with family. Our love for family, movement and travel often comes together in fun explorations – this photo is from Bob’s family reunion in Zion National Park!

We have long been interested in growing our family through adoption, and hope to build a loving, trusting, and open relationship with our child's birth family.

Martha & Zoé

We have been together since 2010 and have always known that we’ve wanted to grow our family through adoption. We have called the Twin Cities home for the past decade and live in an old neighborhood of Saint Paul. We love doing house projects and most recently renovated our entire kitchen ourselves. Zoé is the artistic director of a ballet company, and Martha is an assistant professor in neuroscience. Our community of friends and family is composed of varied backgrounds and interests. We love traveling and enjoy spending time with our family, friends, and our three cats - Milou, Bradley, and Frederick.

We're Adam and John!

We live with our cats - Broccoli and Morticia - in South Minneapolis. We love living in a city that has easy access to nature. Adam is an educator, a musician, and an athlete who coaches teachers after many years in the classroom. John is a trained pastry chef, a woodworker, and a potter who owns a data consulting business.

We're both indoor cats at heart, who love coming home after a long adventure. John cooks and empties the litter box, and Adam cleans and takes care of the yard. We enjoy sitting by the fire, going on lots of walks, having dinner parties with our friends, and listening to records.

We’re Jesse and Garrett, and we’ve been married since 2020. From early on in our relationship, we knew we wanted to grow our family through adoption. While we didn’t grow up in Minnesota, we now call the Twin Cities home and live in a character-filled neighborhood in South Minneapolis. We love working on home projects together including remodeling most of our home since buying it in 2019. Jesse works as a marketing director in agricultural marketing and Garrett is a professor in agricultural marketing. Our circle of friends and family is warm and deeply supportive. We love to travel, host dinners, and spend time with our nieces and nephews in Mississippi and Illinois.

Hello!

We are Brittany and Will. Our home is full of joy because of our beloved pets. We have a cheerful five-pound chihuahua named Frank who loves children and brings us endless happiness. Two cats, Echo and Lacuna, provide many opportunities to laugh with their mildly chaotic playfulness. Our three zebra finches fill the house with their songs and beauty. While our aquarium, home to lively zebra danios and curious mystery snails, adds a touch of calm.

Hello! We are Nikko and Alex. We have been married for almost five years and have been together as a couple for almost 10! We live in a quiet and cozy community near the southwest metro. We have three rescue cats named Appa, Momo and Courage. We both currently work as social workers for a nonprofit agency. When we are not working, you will usually find us relaxing at home, going to cultural events and celebrations, spending time with family and friends or traveling around the world. Other shared hobbies include hiking, video games, going to concerts and trying new foods and restaurants.

Having children has been a shared goal of ours since the beginning of our relationship and we have built our life purposefully towards this goal. We strive to foster an environment of open communication, empathy, cultural awareness and advocacy and a balanced life. We are excited to continue on the journey to adoption.

Hi! We're Tescia and Andrew. We have two children who were born to us in 2020 (daughter) and 2022 (son). Our family of four lives in a western suburb of Minneapolis. As a family we love fun, adventure and being together! Whether we're exploring a new park or splash pad, planning a class playdate, or having friends or neighbors over for a backyard gathering, we enjoy being active, being outside with our children, and surrounding ourselves with incredible community.
We both love to travel, listen to audiobooks, and participate in family activities. We can often be found playing or scootering around our cul-de-sac, planning our next family vacation or adventure, dreaming about attending family camp in the summer, camping in our backyard in the fall, or creating memories at every holiday. We recognize our children will only be young once, so we want to enjoy each moment.

Hi there! We're Claire, Andy, Luke (8) and Des (4)! We live on a quiet acreage with Max, our loving and mischievous beagle and our two turtles. We love animals, sports, LEGOs, being outdoors, the water, family adventures, and watching movies - oh, and Des wants to add “dinosaurs!” Our little family was built through open adoption and both boys are hoping so badly to be upgraded to “big brother” status someday soon!

We never knew we could love as deeply as we do until we met these beautiful boys and their families! We hope that Luke, Des and any other children that someday join our family grow up never doubting the unconditional love that surrounds them every day. Our children have grown up knowing their adoption stories from birth. We talk freely and openly about adoption with the boys, embrace their unique heritages, and enjoy a very positive and open relationship with their birth families - we're so thankful for in-person visits, phone calls, gift exchanges and regular texts! They're extensions of our family and we love them dearly. We hope to build a positive and open relationship with you too, if that is your wish.

Hello everyone! We’re Lizz and Justin, a married couple of three wonderful years, and we’re excited to share that we are on a journey to adopt through CH/LSS. We live in Southern Minnesota and are blessed with two amazing dogs, Luke and Nala, who bring so much joy to our lives.

We believe in the importance of community and are looking to add to our village of family and friends who are here to support and love us. We love to travel and try new things—whether it's exploring new places or enjoying a cozy night in with a good movie or a new game.

Lizz works on the admin team for a Christian school in our area, where she enjoys making a positive impact every day. Justin is a retired Marine who now works for our local YMCA as a maintenance professional, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

We understand the difficult decision that lies ahead for expectant mothers and are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to share our hearts with you. We would love to meet you and show our openness and commitment to the world of adoption, as well as being there for everyone involved in this journey. ❤️

Hi! We’re Eli and Mitch.

We live in South Minneapolis and love it! We are a short walk away from parks, Dairy Queen (dangerous!), and a long walk or short bike ride from Minnehaha Parkway and Lake Nokomis.

We keep busy with our jobs, Sullivan - our dog, friends, and extended family. Eli teaches preK-8th grade music, directing a children’s choir and the school musical. Mitch works from home for a payments technology company, serving Credit Unions. We are often on the go - visiting our families on the farm or family cabin, making yummy food with friends, walking Sullivan, going for runs and hanging out playing games. We also like to relax and recharge by reading a good book or catching the latest mystery series on Netflix.

We recently took a family trip (9 of us ages 11 to 82!) to Norway to visit family, experience our histories, and take in the spectacular sights. It was 2 amazing weeks that we will never forget.
