We were so excited to welcome the St. Patrick’s Day Association of St. Paul for their annual visit and performance! This wonderful tradition brings so much joy to our community each year. 💚

Our residents loved the lively music, festive spirit, and the chance to celebrate together. It’s always a highlight of the season and such a special way to bring a little extra luck and cheer to everyone’s day! 🌈🎶

🎈 Pool Noodle Balloon Bonk! 🎈

Today we had a blast playing a fun and energetic game—bonking a balloon around with pool noodles! 🏊‍♀️🎉 Residents gathered together to keep the balloon in the air, sharing lots of laughs and teamwork along the way.

This simple activity is not only fun, but it’s also great for improving hand-eye coordination, gentle movement, and social connection. Best of all, it brought plenty of smiles and friendly competition! 😄

What a wonderful day of art and adventure! 🎨

We filled an entire bus with residents and headed to the beautiful Minneapolis Institute of Art for an inspiring afternoon. From classic masterpieces to fascinating modern works, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

During our visit, some of us explored the stunning 100th anniversary exhibit celebrating The Great Gatsby. The exhibit brought the glamour, style, and spirit of the Jazz Age to life, sparking wonderful conversations and memories.

Exploring the galleries, sharing favorite pieces, and taking in the creativity on display made for such a meaningful outing in Minneapolis.

We’re already looking forward to our next adventure together!

Creativity was flowing in our community today! 🎨💌

Our residents spent the afternoon watercoloring beautiful handmade cards to send to their loved ones. From soft florals to bright, cheerful designs, each card was a one-of-a-kind masterpiece filled with heart.

There’s something extra special about receiving a handwritten note—especially when it’s paired with artwork made with love. 💖 Moments like these are a wonderful reminder that creativity has no age, and staying connected to family and friends is what matters most.

🍀 Culinary Creations: St. Patrick’s Day Edition! 🍀

We had a little extra luck (and a lot of fun!) in the kitchen during our “Culinary Creations” activity this week. Our residents baked delicious green muffins and topped them off with festive sprinkles to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day!

There was plenty of mixing, laughing, and taste-testing along the way. The sweet treats turned out just as festive as they were flavorful — and of course, everything is better when made together. 💚🧁

It was a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday, share some smiles, and enjoy a little Irish-inspired cheer!

There’s nothing like getting out in the fresh air, taking in the tree-lined streets, and connecting with the vibrant community that surrounds us here in Saint Paul. Along the way, we shared plenty of smiles, great conversation, and even a few stories about how the neighborhood has changed over the years.

Our monthly Sing-Along was filled with music, laughter, and plenty of heart! There’s nothing quite like gathering together to sing familiar favorites and enjoy the joy that music brings.

From golden oldies to beloved classics, voices filled the room and smiles were everywhere. Some residents tapped their toes, some clapped along, and others sang every word by heart — making it a truly special afternoon.

Music has a wonderful way of bringing people together and sparking cherished memories. We’re so grateful for these moments of connection and community.

Today we are celebrating an incredible milestone—Aggie is turning 105 years young! 🎉🎂

Earlier this week at Happy Hour, we had the joy of surprising Aggie with her very own birthday banner, a special cake just for her, and cupcakes for everyone to enjoy. We were having so much fun celebrating that we completely forgot to take photos!

The celebration continues though—Aggie’s birthday banner is now proudly displayed outside her apartment so everyone can stop by and share their birthday wishes.

Residents had a great time gathering around the table, sharing conversation, laughter, and of course, delicious Italian favorites. From savory pasta dishes to fresh salads and sweet treats, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

🍽️✈️ Travel Club: A Taste of New Orleans! ✈️🍽️

This month our Travel Club took us down to the vibrant streets of New Orleans — and we brought the flavors right into our own kitchen!

During a special “Conversations with the Chef,” our Director of Culinary showed residents how to make their very own remoulade sauce from scratch. From mixing the ingredients to learning the history behind this classic Louisiana favorite, it was a delicious and interactive experience for everyone.

Residents enjoyed tasting, learning, and sharing stories inspired by the rich food culture of New Orleans. It’s amazing how food can transport us to another place and spark such wonderful conversation!

We can’t wait to see where Travel Club takes us next! 🌎✨
