We love celebrating the amazing people who make our community so vibrant—and this week, we’re shining the spotlight on two of our incredible team members!

🌞 Khadija shared a peaceful moment on the patio with one of our beloved residents, Rosemary. Whether it's meaningful conversation or simply enjoying the fresh air together, Khadija’s kindness and calm presence make every day brighter.

💪 Gideon brought the energy (and the motivation!) as he led a fun and uplifting exercise class. His enthusiasm and encouragement keep our residents moving, laughing, and feeling their best—body and mind!

We're so proud of our team and grateful for the heart they bring to our community every day!

Our residents are diving into suspense, mystery, and meaningful conversation this month with Copper River by William Kent Krueger—a gripping page-turner that’s sparked lively discussion and plenty of theories!

Book Club is more than just reading—it’s about connecting, sharing ideas, and exploring new perspectives together. Each meeting brings thoughtful dialogue, laughter, and the joy of good company.

🐾 Four-Legged Friends & Heartwarming Moments! 🐶💕

This week, our residents enjoyed some tail-wagging joy during our Pet Therapy! 🦴🐕

Our furry visitors brought so much happiness as they made their rounds, offering snuggles, paw shakes, and plenty of kisses. From tiny lap dogs to gentle golden retrievers, each pup had a special way of connecting with our residents—and the smiles said it all. 🥰

Petting a pup is more than just fun—it can boost mood, ease stress, and spark sweet memories of beloved pets from years past.

A big thank-you to our wonderful therapy dogs and their handlers for spreading so much joy!

🍪 Culinary Creations in Full Color! 🎨💕

This week at The Waters of Highland Park, our talented residents put their baking skills to the test during our Culinary Creations activity—and the results were as sweet as they were colorful!

We whipped up a batch of classic sugar cookies and topped them off with a vibrant hot pink frosting that brought smiles all around. From sprinkles to swirls, everyone added their own flair—and a little extra love—to each treat. 💖

Nothing brings people together quite like good company and fresh-baked cookies. 🍽️👩‍🍳

Our amazing residents rolled up their sleeves today and created the most beautiful flower bouquets for our dining room tables! 💐✨

It was a lovely afternoon filled with laughter, creativity, and the sweet scent of fresh blooms. There's something truly special about adding a personal touch to the spaces we share—and nothing brightens a room (or a mood!) quite like fresh flowers arranged with love.

Every week our residents are treated to a beautiful "Fill Your Vase" activity — and what a blooming success it was this week! With colorful bouquets generously donated by our wonderful friends at Trader Joe's, everyone got to choose their favorite flowers and create a stunning arrangement to brighten their rooms and their spirits. 🌷🌻🌼

There were smiles all around as each vase became a reflection of personal style and joy. A huge thank you to Trader Joe’s for their kindness and support in helping us bring beauty and happiness to our community! 🌟
