There’s nothing like a beautiful day in Highland Park! 🌳☀️

Our residents enjoyed a refreshing walk through the neighborhood, taking in the scenic views, fresh air, and charming surroundings that make this community so special. From friendly waves to peaceful moments along the way, it was the perfect opportunity to stay active and enjoy the beauty right outside our doors.

These simple outings are such a wonderful reminder of how important it is to get outside, connect, and appreciate the little things together. 💚

We had an absolutely amazing time getting creative this week! 🎨✨

Gary, our wonderful Active Life Coordinator, led a water marbling craft session on paper—and wow, what a beautiful experience it turned out to be! Residents loved watching the colors swirl and blend into one-of-a-kind masterpieces. No two pieces were alike, and each creation reflected the creativity and joy in the room.

Moments like these remind us how fun it is to try something new, express ourselves, and share laughter together. Great job, Gary, for bringing such a unique and engaging activity to our community! 💙

Strike up some fun! 🎳

Today at our senior living community, we turned the hallway into a bowling lane—and what a hit it was! Residents enjoyed a little friendly competition, lots of laughs, and plenty of cheering from the sidelines. From perfect strikes to “creative” rolls, everyone got in on the action.

Activities like hallway bowling aren’t just fun—they help keep us active, social, and smiling. Already looking forward to the next round!

We hit it out of the park with our baseball-themed happy hour at The Waters of Highland Park! ⚾🌭

Residents enjoyed all the classic ballpark favorites—cracker jacks, peanuts, fresh popcorn, hot dogs, and brats with all the fixings. The fun didn’t stop there as we gathered together to watch a baseball game and cheer on the action! 🎉

Great food, great company, and a great game made for a home run kind of day! 💙

We had the pleasure of welcoming multiple string quartets from Swider String Studio, and their performances truly filled the space with beauty and warmth 🎻✨

Music has such a meaningful impact for seniors—it can spark memories, lift spirits, and create a sense of connection that words often can’t. Watching our residents enjoy the performances, smile, and even hum along was a wonderful reminder of how powerful live music can be.

Music, laughter, and a whole lot of joy filled the room at our monthly sing-along 🎶

Betsy kept us on track as our song leader, guiding us through each tune, while Greta brought everything to life on the piano. Together, they made it easy (and fun!) for everyone to join in—whether singing loud or just humming along.

There’s something special about voices coming together—just enjoying the moment and making memories.
