This morning, our residents rolled up their sleeves and got to work shucking fresh corn—sharing stories, laughter, and a few corn husk tricks from way back when! 😊

Later in the day, our amazing Director of Culinary, Chris, worked his magic and turned all that golden goodness into the most delicious treat for our Happy Hour. 🧈🍴✨

Our residents had some extra tail-wagging joy this week thanks to a special visit from Diego, our beloved pet therapy dog! 🐕💕

Diego brought comfort, cuddles, and lots of smiles to everyone he met. There’s nothing quite like the unconditional love of a furry friend to lift spirits and brighten the day. 🦴💖

We are so grateful for the joy pet therapy brings to our community—it’s just one more way we’re helping our residents continue thriving every day.

🌸💐 Fill Your Vase – Beauty in Bloom! 🌼🌿

This week, a lovely group of ladies from our Petals Neighborhood came together for a special activity we call “Fill Your Vase.” With fresh flowers, creative spirit, and lots of laughter, they handcrafted beautiful floral arrangements to brighten our common areas!

Each bouquet was thoughtfully arranged with care and a personal touch—bringing color, joy, and the sweet scent of summer into our shared spaces. 🌺💕

It's amazing how something as simple as flowers can spark conversation, smiles, and a sense of home. Thank you to our residents for sharing your creativity and helping our community bloom from the inside out!

🇺🇸 Vet to Vet Café at The Waters of Highland Park 🇺🇸

We were honored to welcome Gentiva Hospice to our community for a very special event — the Vet to Vet Café.

This unique gathering gave our resident veterans the opportunity to connect, share stories, and reflect on their service in a relaxed and supportive environment. There’s something truly powerful about veterans talking with other veterans — the understanding, the camaraderie, and the respect shared in that room was deeply moving.

A heartfelt thank you to Gentiva Hospice for facilitating this important time of connection and conversation. And most of all, thank you to our incredible veterans — your courage, service, and stories continue to inspire us every day. ❤️🤝
