Check out this informing article about Dr. Dean Ornish, an American physician and researcher. Ornish says that through proper diet, exercise, and social support, Alzheimer’s can be reversed completely. On that note, take a few hours out of this week and make sure to take care of yourself! That could mean coming to Statera for a lift or a run, or eating healthy and doing some Yoga and stretching! Happy Thursday!

Hi members, I hope you’re having a healthy February! It’s a good time to check in on your personal habits. Would you give yourself an A+ on the gym-Etiquette scale? Most importantly, Statera is a small, friendly space. If you need to use equipment that a member is parked on while staring at their phone, kindly get their attention and ask to rotate. If you find yourself in the habit of phone checking and sitting a little too long on a piece of equipment, please do your best to walk it off and free up the space. Thank you!

How lucky we are to host an amazing event like the North Star Grand Prix in the TC! Here is your chance to see professional cyclists from around the world compete just a few blocks away on Grand Ave! This particular race is a super fast and exciting circuit. This means lots of cornering, elbowing, and close calls at every curb. I urge you to check it out tomorrow night! Women start at 6:15 pm, men at 7:45pm. Did I mention beer garden? Get in your workout first and come on down!
Race circuit is a perfect rectangle: Start/finish on Grand, left on Victoria, up Lincoln, left St. Albans back to Grand.

Hey everybody! The cycling instructors at Statera just want to send out a friendly reminder to our awesome members to please remove all equipment from the area after you are finished. This includes mats, jump ropes, rollers, and weights.
