Lots of people are feeling stressed. A well researched breathing technique for calming the brain is to exhale twice as long as inhalation. Breathe in for a count of four, breathe out for a count of eight. Most people's brains calmed after doing this for 10 cycles or two minutes in situations of normal stress. In situations of extreme stress, breathing this way for 25 cycles or five minutes calmed most people's brains.
