The nonprofit Advancing Parenting would like to share a free resource for promoting positive childhood experiences and preventing adverse childhood experiences.
Parenting Norms Bumper Stickers
We make them available at no cost to organizations, agencies, and schools. There are fifty-two in a set and each sticker communicates a parenting behavior or practice generally recognized as supporting the healthy development of children.
Bumper stickers are a unique and powerful way for community members to share parenting wisdom. At stoplights drivers and passengers point, smile, and nod. Conversations begin and often a phone is used to take a photo of the sticker right at the stoplight. Just one will be read thousands of times!
The stickers can be given away at meetings and events and/or put in holders and placed on counters so folks can select one for their cars. Visit
www.advancingparenting.org to request this free resource.

Please delete if this is not appropriate. I am looking for an agency that is accepting Master’s level Social Work interns starting in September 2021 - April/May 2022. I have experience in research and I want to become a trauma therapist. I have sought out countless trauma online courses as well. I am seeking a first-year internship starting this fall in St. Paul or Minneapolis. Please direct message me or email:

Did you know that one in five youth have a mental health condition, with half of mental health conditions developing well before age 14? The negative stigma and lack of understanding of mental illnesses extends to communities, teachers, health care professionals, school systems, employers and places of worship.
PrairieCare Fund’s goal is to break down barriers, raise awareness and make a difference in the lives of children and families braving mental health challenges.
PrairieCare Fund (PCF) fills a critical gap in education by funding Minnesota schools with grants that help teachers and staff identify, advocate and reduce the stigma of mental health through wellness programs and education.
PrairieCare Fund resonates with programs that focus on creating positive outcomes for children, adolescents, educators, and families. Funding for PrairieCare grants are generated through donations from concerned parents, educators, business leaders and communities.
Donate today to help support school mental health programs throughout the state of Minnesota.
