Minneapolis bike thieves using grinders to cut locks.
They stole multiple bikes from high school kids on 4/28. They were successful yesterday so will probably strike again.

Kryptonite heavy duty chain lock. No match for a grinder.

First event on the new gravel bike is done and dusted! Earth Day Gravel Grinder is such a solid event. Thanks to the organizers and volunteers. 🙏

The bike felt great. Some fit tweaks to be made, but so fun to ride! Significant PR on Shady Lane is a strong data point.

Spent a chunk of the ride with a pack of donkeys and pushed ahead when they stopped to wait for someone. Able to roll into the finish with a crew of riders when my 50-mile route and their 70-mile route intersected perfectly just a few miles from town. Got to catch up with the gang. Ran into loads of clients. 🙌

Won a raffle prize that included a bunch of presents for my pups. They were pretty happy about it.

I’ll highlight the new bike soon. In the meantime…

Our Winter Ultra Happy Hour at last Friday was amazing.

We screened “Chasing Checkpoints,” a short film by and had a stellar panel with , , , and myself to talk about the Arrowhead 135, ultras, riding bikes, and supportive friends, among other things…

Huge thanks to One On One Bicycle Studio for teaming up with GO PHYSIO on this. The new shop is awesome!

50 miles for 50 years with some of my favorite people on one of my favorite routes.

Saw lots of folks out there today including a group of riders and 🙌 I hope ALL of you are able to get out there today.

I’ll keep riding bikes, hanging with good people, and making dumb jokes (see plank pic)… Counting on that formula to carry me through the next 50. 😜
