"4.5 minutes. Twice a day. That's the whole challenge."

That's it. That's the assignment.

Core work. Morning and night. 4.5 minutes each time.

It sounds so manageable. And then you actually try to build the habit and suddenly 4.5 minutes is a whole personality conflict.

Here's what I learned: the problem wasn't the time. The problem was I was trying to get through it as fast as possible instead of actually doing it.

When I slowed the reps down, really slowed them down, 4.5 minutes became plenty. Because the work was landing. Every rep counted. I needed less to get more.

Yoga Sutra 1.14. Practice becomes firmly grounded when it's done over a long period of time, without interruption, and with sincerity.

Small. Consistent. Sincere. That's the formula. Not big. Not perfect. Not fast.

4.5 minutes. Twice a day. 🌱

What's your 4.5 minutes right now? The small thing you keep skipping? Tell me. I want to know. 👇

"Nobody talks about week two."😭

Week one has a whole aesthetic.

Fresh intention. New month energy. Maybe you lit a candle.

Week two is a Tuesday.

You're tired. The weather still can't make up its mind. The intention you set seven days ago is now just a thing you said you were going to do.

And you do it anyway.

That's not a small thing. That's actually the whole practice.

Yoga Sutra 1.14: practice becomes firmly grounded when it's done over a long period of time, without interruption, and with sincerity.

The middle part. Without interruption. Not perfectly. Not brilliantly every single time. Just continuously. The thread doesn't break.

See you Sunday. 🐾
