The Winter season invites us to slow down, ground, and turn inward after the busy, active Fall & Early Winter Season. Use SomaYoga Therapy, including Ayurveda, to support the natural need to calm, ground, and turn inward to nourish the body, mind, and soul.

Learn healing and restoring practices that are organized around the Six Pillars of Yogic Lifestyle and nourishing Ayurveda recommendations 1) movement, 2) cleansing system support, 3) breath practices/transforming stress, 4) mindfulness & meditation 5) food/input, and 6) strategies for restful sleep & relaxation. In Ayurveda, we learn that with each season, time of the day, and season of life, our individual needs may change to be in harmony with nature and our individual constitution.

Join us to learn a yoga sequence proven to increase bone density with regular daily practice. This class series has been developed using the 12 Postures vs Osteoporosis created by Dr Loren Fishman. This 6-week class series uses the 12 postures and includes additional postures while varying the sequence from time to time. Each week, two (2 of the 12) core postures will be practiced in greater depth. Each class also includes a breathing practice and gentle warm-up to begin, and ends with restorative postures. Appropriate for every level of practitioner. In-Studio

Drop-in for the last class of the Women's Embodiment series with Zandra: The Journey Home!

Qoya is a women's embodiment practice based on the idea that through movement, we remember. We remember that our essence is like nature - wise, wild, and free. Wise, Wild, and Free also describe the movement forms we explore in class.
Wise: calling on the wisdom of yoga, meditation, ritual, and contemplation.
Wild: celebrating the creative and authentic expression in dance
Free: the freedom to feel pleasure in the body through feminine or sensual movement by finding and following what feels nourishing to you.

Qoya is also based on the idea that there is no way you can do it wrong. If it feels good to you, that's how you know you are doing it right. It’s a physical movement practice that allows us to shift to get out of our heads and back into our bodies, and we do this by tuning into the physical sensations and the feeling in the body.
