SomaRestore is a deeply nourishing practice designed to restore inner peace through gentle Soma Yoga movement, calming pranayama practices, and extended guided relaxation practice. This class invites you to slow down, soften, and reconnect with the wisdom of the body, releasing accumulated tension where it truly lives in the nervous system and energetic body.

Through slow, mindful movement and breath, we gently unwind stress patterns, regulate the nervous system, and create space for deep rest and renewal. The practice concludes with a long guided relaxation to support integration, healing, and a return to inner balance.

Ideal for anyone feeling stressed, overwhelmed, fatigued, or simply in need of a reset. All levels welcome.

A 6-Week Exploration of the Energy Within

There’s more happening in the body than muscles and bones. Beneath movement, beneath breath, there’s energy — subtle currents that shape how we feel, think, and move through the world.

This series explores the inner pathways of energy: prana (life force), the nadis (energy channels), and the chakra system. Not as abstract concepts, but as lived experience. As something you can actually feel.

Each week we’ll focus on a different layer of the energy body. Through movement, breath, mudra, meditation, sound, and subtle energy practices, we’ll bring awareness to what’s flowing — and create space where energy wants to move.

Classes include:

• a simple astrology forecast for the week ahead

• breathwork to support energetic balance

• mudras connected to different centers of awareness

• movement designed to open and align

• meditation + sound for integration

• a weekly spiritual practice to stay connected between classes

Why a series?

A series creates rhythm. Over six weeks, the practices build, the nervous system softens, and the work has time to land in the body — not just the mind.

This offering is for anyone who feels called to explore the subtle body more deeply and to move with greater awareness of the energy within them.

Enjoy a one-on-one 90-minute Private Therapeutic Yoga Session with an advanced yoga teacher in training on Saturday, March 14, from 10:30 am - 12 pm or 3:00 PM 4:30 PM. You will receive a private session with an advanced SomaYoga teacher-in-training to improve function, reduce pain, and increase freedom. You will leave with tips for a home practice tailored to your needs. Space is limited - schedule today!

This session is located at The Hot House Studios, The Kennedy Building, 2303 Kennedy Street NE, #202, Minneapolis, MN 55413. Parking is on the side and back of the building. Enter through the front door.

Throughout the 6-week series we will continue to practice the 12+ postures that have been proven to build bone density. Ann & Dan Blackburn are returning to Amorgos, based on demand, for a week of yoga, relaxation, and adventure.

Join Sheila for her Strengthen and Restore class series! This class combines a breathing practice, a gentle flowing vinyasa sequence, a series of static postures for building strength and balance, and several powerful restorative postures. Throughout each class (and the 6-week series) we will practice several foundational postures of classical hatha yoga and their restorative variations with a focus on alignment. Experience the body's nuanced response when efforting versus resting in awareness. By the end of the workshop series, you will feel stronger, more balanced and agile, and more aligned in your body and your mind.

Handouts provided for each posture.

This class is appropriate for every level of practitioner.
