We are so grateful for our North Star Pet Therapy team, Sheryl and Dejlig (Dye-lee). They come to visit once a month in our Assisted Living and Memory Care areas and leave us smiling!

Look at what happens when the Winter Carnival officials come to knight several of our residents! Smiles, laughter and a good time were had by all! Thank you for everyone involved in making this a successful and meaningful moment in Dellwood Gardens' history. 😊 It was an honor to have the current Winter Carnival queen meet a fellow Queen.

Recently, professional photographer Scott Streble brought his talents to Dellwood Gardens Assisted Living and gave our residents & staff the star treatment! Smiles lit up the room as residents posed for their individual portraits, which were printed and shared with loved ones for the holiday season!

Moler Barber School took great care of us on November 20th! We brought 9 residents for service and the students / staff made everyone look and feel good. The pictures are before, during and after Dan's visit and his expressions say it all! We will be back again. Thank you, Moler Barber School!!

More Dellwood highlights to brighten up your Friday! We recently had students from Metropolitan State University in the house to run an amazing health clinic with our residents, including vital checks and hand massages!

We’d also like to extend a huge thank you to BP Sushi for catering a fantastic group dinner. Many of our residents had the opportunity to try sushi for the first time, and the famous dish may have a few new fans…

We can’t wait to keep the ball rolling as the weather cools down this fall — stay tuned for next week’s blog post about how to stay engaged when times get chilly.

This week was National Assisted Living Week, and the Dellwood Gardens crew cut no corners when it came time to celebrate!
