These two very special beings were saved from the Guerrero Negro dump in Baja by our friends at BAJA S.A.F.E. Isabelle there healed them with love and tenderness which, until their rescue, they found solely in one another's company. - we believe that is what sustained them and gave them the will to live when they were sick and starving.

Today, their survival is rewarded with a trip to Sunny Sky's Animal Rescue in Washington. They will soon be home forever.

 We recently took Baker into Rescue. Baker is a 6 month old GSD mix who has been diagnosed with canine megaesophagus. We are consulting with the specialist at WSU about his condition and will be likely bringing him there for diagnostics soon. In the meantime his foster is managing his condition by feeding him small meals several times a day. We are looking for a Bailey chair which will hold him upright during and after eating which will assist by using gravity to help food travel down his esophagus. If anyone has one to donate that would be amazing. Baker currently weighs about 40 pounds. He is the sweetest boy with the most endearing goofy personality. His foster mom loves him already. We just want to give this little guy the best shot we can at a happy healthy life.
