The Northern Midwest Regional Council of Carpenters (NMRCC) makes use of social media to engage followers to learn about the NMRCC, to contribute to relevant conversations, to engage with our community, and to promote our programs and services. The NMRCC reserves the sole right to review, edit, and/or delete any comments deemed inappropriate. The NMRCC also reserves the right to terminate involvement by those who post such content. Comments including, but not limited to, the following may be deleted or edited if deemed inappropriate or irrelevant by the moderators:
• Abusive or hurtful comments about a user or another participant;
• Off-topic and redundant comments (this includes promotion or solicitation of events, groups, pages, websites, organizations, products, programs not related to or affiliated with the NMRCC, and spam);
• Comments that use profanity, foul language, abusive language or "hate speech" (for example, including but not limited to racial, ethnic, or gender-bashing language);
• Private, personal information published without consent;
• Personal attacks or defamatory statements or comments (i.e., making negative personal or untrue comments about an individual), instead of just criticizing his/her posting, opinion or comments;
• Plagiarized material or material that potentially violates intellectual property rights;
• Comments that violate the privacy of any individual;
• Advertisements and business solicitations; and
• Material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, slanderous, hateful, or embarrassing to any person or entity as determined by the NMRCC. The NMRCC website and social media accounts are produced and maintained by the NMRCC. The views and opinions expressed on NMRCC social media sites and links to other Internet resources do not necessarily represent those of the NMRCC. The NMRCC cannot be held responsible for the accuracy, currency, or reliability of information posted by external parties.
