We had a great turnout at the Wisconsin Legislative Conference in Madison today! 👏

Our members proudly advocated for carpenter economics at the capitol and heard from union leadership, WI Governor Tony Evers, County Executive Melissa Agard, Michael Ewing, Judge Chris Taylor and Green Bay Packers Legend, Dorsey Levens!

Thank you to our sponsors, Alliant Energy, WEC Energy Group and Eli Lilly and Company for helping to make this event possible!

Gagnon Inc. recently donated a scaffolding project to the Central Training Center in Mosinee, WI.

As the company transitions to a more carpenter-focused workforce, four apprentices from Locals 310 and 314 have joined their team. Thank you to Gagnon for your support and the Carpenters Training Institute Wisconsin for hosting this training! 💪

Detroit high school girls got a powerful introduction to the world of skilled trades this week! 🔧👷‍♀️ They rolled up their sleeves and got hands-on experience. Wearing safety vests and working alongside women already thriving in the trades, they learned how to hammer nails, try welding equipment, and see what a future in these careers could look like.

We were honored to welcome Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer to our training center as she joined us in building a toolbox and showing her support for the skilled trades! This event also featured a powerful panel of four women working in the trades, hosted by Ideal Contracting, who shared their experiences, advice, and the impact of building a career in construction. 💪
