Weather Update from the Saint Paul Winter Carnival, Presented by Dungarvin Inc.:

Due to the forecasted sustained windchills below our threshold of –25°F, tonight's Kick-off to Carnival, Presented by T-Fiber in Rice Park is being postponed and the Friday ice bar, presented by Stella Residences and food truck festival are canceled, but we hope everyone joins us for our indoor events. We’ve consulted with the National Weather Service and local meteorologists, and this decision is being made with everyone’s safety as the top priority. We will host a 140th Anniversary Celebration Ceremony in Rice Park next Friday evening, Jan 30th starting at 5 pm, ceremony at 5:30pm and laser light show at 5:45pm. Continue to check out our website and social media for all of the details.

We still have several fun INDOOR events tonight, the Klondike Kate's Red Feather Saloon Cabaret & Casino Night at 6:30pm in Landmark Center and Winter Carnival Night at the Minnesota Wild game at 8:30 pm at Grand Casino Arena.
Friday is our Day of Doing Good at Saint Paul College and the evening of January 23rd we have the Concert in the Castle at the Saint Paul Hotel featuring the Free and Easy Band and the Royal Coronation, presented by Hamernick's Flooring Solutions. Tickets for all of these events can be found on our website at wintercarnival.com. Saturday and Sunday events are still on as planned as winds are expected to subside, improving conditions. It will still be cold, but the windchill will be less of a factor.
