Who does Second Stork help? We get this question so often. It’s sort of answered two ways - we help new parents in need to keep their newborn safe and snug. We do so by directly partnering with hospitals, whose professionals (like nurses and social workers) order, store, and distribute our items based on many factors in their hospital, community, and patient base. So, we support both - we provide the hospital nurses and social workers with essential newborn items so they can help families in need or crisis who have just welcomed a baby. Got it?

Today we moved out of 130 Eva Street. So long old friend! Again, a big crew of additional volunteers came and made it fast work in very cold morning temps. Second Stork is moving amongst, well, just a few complications and the increased need
amongst hospitals and families. Bright spot? Volunteers are coming like crazy to help out, from prepping our current location for moving out to packing enough newborn diapers to keep families taken care of at this time! We thank each and every one of them. Amazing!

No doubt about it - kids ask great questions! Today, Second Stork was honored to be at the hugely attended day of service at Two Rivers High School for Martin Luther King Day. To say it was an honor is an under-statement. We wish peace and harmony to everyone on this MLK Day.
