For over 75 years, Our Lady of Peace has provided gentle and exceptional care. We specialize in building trusting and meaningful relationships with our patients and their families. Smaller caseloads enable our care teams to develop highly-personalized visits more frequently. Our Lady of Peace is a non-profit organization that welcomes all. We provide Hospice in Your Home, Home Health Care (skilled post-operative care), and a Residential Hospice that provides care at no cost to the patient or families. Wherever your home may be, we are here to help during your time of need. To learn more, please visit our Services & Admissions tab or call us at 651-789-5031.

249 hearts to go, 13 days to give. We’re halfway through the challenge—but not yet halfway to our goal.

Every gift brings us closer to updating our porch and courtyard and ensuring families receive the best end-of-life care at no cost.

Stories like Susan and daughter Susanna’s remind us how much these outdoor spaces matter. Their video says it best.

When hearts come together, we can do more than ever.

Give today to our “300 Hearts in 30 Days” Challenge.

"Death is by no means separate from life....We all interact with death every day, tasting it as we might a wine, feeling its keen edge even in trifling losses and disappointments, holding it by the hand, as a dancer might a partner, in every separation. We pump the soul into every mystery from within, from inside our own experience." Eugene Kennedy in On Being a Friend

The way the light falls through the windows.
The sounds our silence makes when we come together like this.
The sense we have of each other's presence.
The feeling in the air that one way or another we are all of us here
to give each other our love, and to give God our love.
This kind moment itself is a door that holiness enters through.
May it enter you.
May it enter me.
To the world's saving.
(Frederick Buechner, Secrets in the Dark: A Life in Sermons)

When hearts come together, we’re stronger than ever. 🩵

At Our Lady of Peace, we’re continually inspired by the powerful and joyful stories of the loved ones we have the honor to know and care for—like Susan.

This Giving November, we invite you to join our “300 Hearts in 30 Days” challenge by making a new or renewed financial commitment. Your generosity will go toward a much-needed renovated patio and courtyard space and help continue our 80+ year legacy of providing end-of-life care at no cost.

"One practice invites us to bless strangers quietly, secretly. Offer it to people you notice on the street, in the market, on the bus. "May you be happy. May you be at peace." Feel the blessing move through your body as you offer it. Notice how you both receive some benefit from the blessing. Gently, almost without effort, each and every blessing becomes a Sabbath."
— Sabbath by Wayne Muller

To Practice This Thought:When you are out and about, silently and secretly bless as many strangers as possible.

"Ultimately, we have just one moral duty: to reclaim large areas of peace in ourselves, more and more peace, and to reflect it toward others. And the more peace there is in us, the more peace there will also be in our troubled world." (Etty Hillesum, 1943)
