We believe women need to be checked on and cared for more than just once at 4-6 weeks post-birth. ā €

Doulas are not medical professionals, but we *are* trained to help parents recognize what’s normal and what may not be normal when it comes to their mental and physical health. We are there for you and your family, for the days AFTER the big event of birth, when your new universe is taking shape.

Because that event is just as big, and deserves just as much attention.

AI has its uses. But it will never be the boots on the ground that makes human connection. And human connection is vital to human thriving.

Postpartum doula care eliminates isolation, raises breastfeeding success rates, and diminishes postpartum anxiety and depression severity and occurrence rates.

Postpartum doula care means more sleep for parents, better nutrition for postpartum mothers, and higher confidence in new parents.

AI just can’t compete with that, and never will. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Motherhood is often framed as instinctual, but thriving in early motherhood requires support.

Postpartum doulas aren’t a luxury — we’re the scaffold that helps a mother meet her most basic needs so she can rise into her fullest self.

Here’s how we support each level of a mother’s needs:

šŸ’§Physiological/Survival
We make sure she eats actual meals. We hold the baby so she can sleep. We notice when she hasn’t had water in hours. We create space for rest and recovery.

🪺Safety
We offer evidence-based education, practical guidance, and emotional steadiness. We help create routines, reduce overwhelm, and build a safe, calm environment for healing.

šŸ’žLove and Belonging
We sit beside her during the 3 a.m. tears. We listen without judgment. We witness her becoming. We remind her that she is not alone — she has a village.

🌟Esteem
We celebrate small wins and big accomplishments, like when she is able to finally get baby latched successfully, or watching how she trusts her intuition. We help her notice her own strength.

🌸Self-Actualization
As her needs are met and her confidence grows, she can connect with meaning and joy again — not just surviving postpartum, but thriving in it. She’s able to build and keep memories filled with joy from this intense time.

A mother’s well-being is foundational to her baby’s well-being.

✨When mothers are cared for, families flourish.✨

This week, we're celebrating the strength and perseverance of Black families on their feeding journeys during Black Breastfeeding Awareness Week. We're here to honor and elevate the voices of Black mothers trying to feed and care for their babies.

For generations, Black parents have continued to face systemic barriers and a lack of support, specifically in the area of breastfeeding. This week is a powerful reminder that we must continue to advocate for equitable, culturally affirming care for every Black family.

Join us this week as we shine a light on breastfeeding within this community. Let's work together to make sure every Black family feels seen, supported, and empowered.
