We’re growing. Pathfinder Care is looking for a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) to join our team as a 1099 assessor — completing comprehensive substance use assessments across Minnesota.

This is a flexible, remote-friendly contract role with daytime, evening, and weekend availability. If you’re an LADC who values doing thorough, timely, clinically sound work — and wants to be part of a program that’s doing things differently in the recovery space — we want to hear from you.

Here's something most people don't know about how Pathfinder Care works.

When a client completes a check-in, we see it. When they don't, we see that too. Our program runs on an integrated technology platform that tracks real-time signals — engagement, check-ins, early warning patterns — so our clinicians can reach out before something becomes a crisis.

No other IOP in Minnesota is doing this. Not because the technology doesn't exist, but because nobody built it into the program the way we have.

Recovery is hard enough. We built the infrastructure to make sure nobody slips through unnoticed.

Last week Aga was out at Metro State in Saint Paul, tabling at the Internship & Practicum Fair for future LADCs and LPCCs.

There's something grounding about being in a room full of people who are choosing to dedicate their careers to recovery. That energy doesn't get old. 🌱

Big shoutout to the Alcohol and Drug Counseling Student Association at Metropolitan State for putting it together — and to every student who stopped by.

As we head into May and the weather starts to shift, there’s more to look forward to ☀️

Our community board is filling up with events, activities, and ways to get out and be around others again.

In recovery, connection matters. So does redefining what fun looks like. Not what it used to be, but what actually feels good, real, and sustainable now.

These moments matter more than they seem. 🌱

What are you looking forward to this month? Drop it below or stop by and add it to the board.

Second Chance Month means a lot in this space.

It’s not just about starting over. It’s about the work that comes with it. Showing up when it’s hard, rebuilding trust, finding your footing again, and doing it one day at a time.

In IOP, we see that every day. People walking in unsure, carrying a lot, and still choosing to keep going. Over time, that turns into connection, progress, and something that starts to feel like stability again.

Second chances don’t happen all at once. They’re built in moments like these.

Why do clients keep coming back to group?

Because it doesn’t end when the session does.

When people start building real connections, showing up together, and supporting each other outside of group, it becomes more than a program. It becomes part of everyday life.

That’s what keeps people coming back.

Come take a look around.

Walking into a new space can feel like a lot. Not knowing what to expect, who will be there, or how it’s going to feel.

That’s why creating a space that feels comfortable, welcoming, and real matters just as much as the work that happens inside it.

This is a look at Pathfinder Care. 🏡

Stronger communities start with you.

April is Global Volunteer Month, led by Points of Light , and it’s a reminder that showing up matters. Whether it’s your time, your presence, or your support, small actions can make a real impact.

Connection is a big part of what keeps people coming back.

Not just for services, but to sit down with people who actually understand what it feels like to be where they are.

Spaces like this matter more than people realize. It’s where conversations happen without pressure, where people start to open up, and where things begin to shift in a real way.

No one is expected to have it all figured out here. Just showing up is enough to start.

A common question we hear is: What is co-occurring care?

It means looking at the full picture. Many people navigating substance use are also experiencing things like anxiety, depression, or trauma, and treating both together leads to stronger, more lasting recovery.

These are the conversations behind the work.

What actually helps people isn’t always complicated. it’s consistency, showing up, and someone checking in.

That’s what we try to build around every day.
