So often, we find ourselves at a point of feeling lost or overwhelmed.
Layers upon layers of stress have built up, and now we can physically feel the effects of that within our bodies.
So how did we get to that point?
Well, most likely, not enough time was spent connected with your soul. The humble and intelligent part of our total being.
This is why meditation, journaling, relaxation therapies, and meaningful activities are talked about so often in the wellness world.
They are necessary tasks to be able to commune with our higher selves and receive the answers we need (not always necessarily we want).

Here's the difference...
The mind is the part of us that is simply playing out the different thought patterns that have been imprinted and strengthened over time. It's the Ego. The reactive part of ourselves.
The soul is our essence. The thing that is connected to the all of the everything. It's our ability to see beyond the programming, the mundane stresses, and the trivial matters in life. It is humble, wise, and calm. This our joy, our passions, and connection to love.
But like the quote said, you need to be still and listen. You won't hear the wisdom through the noise of the mind.
