What is the Hafferman Learning Center?

I’ve created something that’s been in my heart (and my science brain) for a long time…and it’s finally here.

The Hafferman Learning Center is a space where support meets potential. The potential we all have within us for who we want to become. Here, we support skills in emotional resilience and academic growth. It’s built for kids and teens who are capable, but overwhelmed by stress, big emotions, or the pressure to be “perfect.”

We help families build the skills they need to take on the crazy game of life — with tools backed by neuroscience, behavioral science, and a whole lot of heart.

Support includes:
– K–12 tutoring (reading + science)
– The HLC Membership (coaching + parent support)
– Teen mindfulness & regulation groups (Starting in Wausau, WI fall 2025)

I believe kids deserve to feel calm, capable, and confident.

And parents deserve to exhale knowing their child is okay.

What a beautiful workshop!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Aroma & Arrangement workshop this weekend! It was so great to share simple ways to support our brain and bodies while being creative.

We talked about how scent impacts the brain, made aromatherapy rollers, and ended with making fresh flower bouquets💐

Grateful to share this knowledge and excited for more events like this in the future!
