At AB Spectrum, we use our own Reggio-inspired ABA model blending evidence-based behavior therapy with child-led exploration and creativity.

Here’s how we’re different:

📚 Traditional ABA focuses on adult-led activities.

🌱 ReggioABA keeps the core principles from ABA but adds more client-choice, creativity, and collaboration based on the child’s interests.

We believe therapy should feel like PLAY because that’s how young children learn best. 💛🐢

Whether it’s painting, building, pretending, or exploring nature, our staff use each child’s curiosity to build meaningful learning moments while still working on goals like communication, independence, and social skills.

🌟 Staff Spotlight 🌟

Meet Dana, our Vice President of Intake Services!

👋 Dana was born and raised in Edwardsville, IL, where she still enjoys visiting her parents.

💼 As our VP of Enrollment and Consulting Services, Dana ensures every child and family who reaches out to us whether for a diagnosis or ABA therapy feels informed, supported, and well taken care of from the very beginning.

✨ Dana’s journey with ABSpectrum began as an RBT. Within her first month, she was named Employee of the Month. Soon after, a room coordinator position opened up and she applied, but Holli recognized her potential and brought her into this leadership role where she continues to make a meaningful impact.

👩‍👦‍👦 Outside of work, Dana is a proud mom to two boys who are the lights of her life.

💙 Her favorite part about working at ABSpectrum is the sense of community and support. She loves how hands-on everyone is and how united the team is in creating a better world for all children.

The training dove into the history and foundations of the Reggio Emilia approach and how it’s being implemented today. Visiting the Boulder Journey School offered such powerful insight into what this philosophy looks like in action.
