Support our National Cart Co Power Soccer athletes at the annual Jerry Frick Memorial Power Soccer Tournament February 14-15, 2026!

This tournament is named in honor of Jerry Frick, who helped DASA launch our Power Soccer team, and was integral in building power soccer programming throughout the United States prior to passing away in 2016.

Welcome back, Missy! 🎉💛

We are so excited to welcome Missy back to the Leaps and Bounds team! Missy is an amazing OTA who worked with us a couple of years ago and has recently returned to help support our team during a couple of maternity leaves — and we’re thrilled that she’ll be staying on with us afterward, too!

We are so grateful for her dedication to her families, her positive energy, and the wonderful teammate she is. It truly feels like she never left.

🎮 Minecraft Social Skills Group is Coming Back! 🧱

We’re excited to share that our Minecraft Social Skills Group is returning! This virtual group, led by one of our occupational therapists, uses the world of Minecraft to help kids practice important social skills in a fun and motivating way.

Through building and creating together, kids will work on:

🤝 Cooperation & teamwork
💬 Communication skills
🧠 Problem-solving & flexibility
🎯 Following directions and working toward shared goals

We’ve run this group in the past and loved seeing the connections and confidence that grew—after a short break, we’re hoping to restart in February if there’s enough interest.

🎉 Happy Birthday, Nicole! 🎉
Today we’re celebrating one of our incredible OTs who brings so much creativity, humor, and heart to everything she does. Nicole is endlessly fun and imaginative with her clients, always finding clever ways to engage, problem-solve, and make therapy meaningful (and hilarious at times).
She avoids photos like a pro, prefers no hugs or extra attention 😉, but is always ready with a prank—and let’s not forget she forever changed us by introducing the legendary concept of Meat Bingo 🥩😂.

🎉 Welcome Makenna! 🎉

We are excited to welcome Makenna to the Leaps and Bounds team! She is completing her fieldwork as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and is currently a student at St. Louis Community College.

Makenna will be learning alongside our therapists while supporting our kids and families, and we’re thrilled to be part of her journey into pediatric therapy.
