Today on the 18th Day of our 42 day celebration we bring tidings of peace and joy through faith. Tonight is the first night of the eight nights of Hanukkah and this is the 3rd Sunday in Advent.

Day 17 and we are still bringing Holiday Cheer throughout our community and the people around us! On this day of cheer we took time to have fun and look back on our Arrow Holiday videos with the find the “Easter Egg” game. Continuing our Acts of Service, our Resident Services Director made a special delivery to our local American Legion Post in honor of Wreaths Across America.

Today was the 16th Day of Holiday Cheer. This is our communities favorite day of the 42 days we celebrate. We come together for a little healthy competition and each neighborhood creates their own unique gingerbread house. Monday we will tally the votes and announce the winner.

On the 15th day of Cheer and as part of our legend chasers series, we learn about Yule Lads. These Mischievous little elf like characters come from Icelandic folklore. They leave gifts in the shoes of girls and boys who were on the nice list that day! Be careful because if you are naughty you will not find gifts, but a rotten potato!

Happy 14th day of Holiday Cheer! We had an awesome wreath making class with Kelly, who brought us live wreaths to embellish with all sorts of Christmas spirit! It smelled like a pine forest in our community room! Thank you for sharing your time and talent with us!

We had so much fun on our 13th day of Holiday Cheer! We cozied up in the theater with hot chocolate in hand to play the “Hallmark Hot Chocolate Drinking Game.” Some of us made our hot chocolate extra special, but all of us had a good time!

It is the 2nd Sunday of Advent and our prayer is for peace. It is also the 11th day of our cheer celebration. Today We are taking time to reflect on our year, send Seasons Greetings to our friends and families, and enjoy each others company as we address Holiday Cards together. 🎅🏻
