We had a follow up teledoc video call with the Mayo Clinic today and they agree with the treatments Mary Zeiser- Williams is getting for her brain cancer recurrence. They said the Avastin infusion is the best treatment and the temodar chemo pills are a good secondary treatment. We won’t need to talk to them again as long as she is receiving treatment here in STL. The only reason we would need to reach back out to them is if she were to have issues with the current treatment plan or has a recurrence.

Well Mary Zeiser- Williams was retested at therapy today to see how she is doing since she first started back with them the last week of 2025. Unfortunately she has declined, mostly in her stability on her feet and her left side neglect, caused by the seizure she had last year on May 3rd. Hopefully with all her treatments it will help to start improving this as it shrinks the cancer. 🙏🤞🍀💕

All went good with the shunt adjustment, changed with no issues went really quick 😊
She has to get a CT next month to make sure the shunt change hasn’t caused any issues. Then her next MRI is in March 🤞🍀🙏

Tomorrow she goes to an appointment with Neuro so they can turn her shunt from a 3 to a 2. Which will create more flow and release of spinal fluid from the brain ventricles into her abdomen and hopefully shrink the ventricles to help with all her symptoms.

Chemo pill night #2 went 100% better!!! 😊
Took anti nausea pill before chemo pill, had a lil nausea so took the 2nd anti nausea pill and then ate dinner plus she got her slushie treat too. We both fell asleep in our new recliners and went to bed early this morning with no incidents.
She slept in, I got up and snowblowed all the driveways in the court and ready to finally start our day. Stay safe and warm out there. AND oh yeah don’t forget, F**K CANCER!!!!

On our way home from therapy Mary Zeiser- Williams says “we should go to sonic and get one of those ice cream slushies with nerds”. At first I thought in my head I’ll just go home cuz she’ll forget AND actually we both forgot. BUT as soon as we get inside she says “awww we forgot to go to sonic OR you (meaning me) just thought ehh this bish will forget and we be good”. Her words not mine quite 😂 😝 She does know me pretty good even with the brain stuff going on 😊

Well not how we wanted the first dose of chemo pills to go, she got sick.
It’s been over a year plus since she’s taken chemo pills and I forgot the process. I forgot we have nausea pills she can take 30 min prior to the chemo pill, my bad. I feel so bad because she kept saying sorry and I told her quit it, it’s the damn chemo poison we are trying to put in your body’s fault not yours😢
Oh yeah F**K CANCER!!! 😡
