In what ways have you been blessed since 2020?

For the first few minutes today I could really only think of 1 to 2 things but then I realized a lot of what I just assumed was “normal” “routine” and not that surprising is actually also a blessing.

Nothing is guaranteed and every victory, no matter how mundane is still a win🥇

Since 2020 I have:

-Graduated from residency
-Graduated from fellowship
-Joined the top private practice in Missouri
-Passed Plastic Surgery Boards
-Elected to
-Elected to
-Married my best friend
-Became a full plastic surgery partner
-Founded my first business .mentor to coach students
-Graduated from business school
-Consultant to startups and new surgeons
-Surgical Instructor at courses
-Board Exam Coach
-Reviewer for plastic surgery journals

😂 but in all seriousness there are people out there claiming to be plastic surgeons but have only done 1 single weekend course to learn how to do 1 surgical procedure on a cadaver…

Be aware of the difference in skill set and training between real plastic surgeons vs. cosmetic “surgeons”.

Real plastic surgeons go to world renowned meetings to fine-tune and finesse knowledge and expertise that has already been honed for over a decade by performing surgery.

Look for your plastic surgeon to be board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ask to see their Plastic Surgery diploma from where they went to residency. And even better is fellowship training in the actual surgery they are performing.
