I might have shared this recently but just in case you weren't aware...my GI doc had me taking the generic Prilosec for 3 mos to heal my esophagitis which it did and after my follow up endoscopy which indicated all is good she said I could continue to take it as I was or as needed...now I am the doc? ANYWAY what I discovered in the weeks following was that the med was responsible for a pain flare in my legs and knees that I just could not shake or attribute to anything I had or was doing. After 3 days off the meds the pain was almost completely gone so I have implemented a more natural and holistic approach to keeping my tummy in a happy place! Do you read the side effects of your drugs? If you have but not recently and develop other "ailments" go back and read them. What you do not know could be hurting you. After my honey (who is a truck driver) started a daily aspirin routine as prescribed by his cardiologist years ago he started coming home with swollen ankles and calves...because of a childhood health experience I had, it occurred to me that MAYBE THE ASPIRIN....well google the side effects. Even though the cardiologist said that aspirin would not cause that...WELL IT DID! BE YOUR OWN HEALTH ADVOCATE or let me help that is what I do as a health coach!

A giant ship's engine broke down and no one could repair it, so they hired a Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years of experience.

He inspected the engine very carefully, from top to bottom. After seeing everything, the engineer unloaded his bag and pulled out a small hammer.

He knocked something gently. Soon, the engine came to life again. The engine has been fixed!

A week later the engineer mentioned to the ship owner that the total cost of repairing the giant ship was $20,000.

"What?!" said the owner.

"You did almost nothing. Give us a detailed bill."

The answer is simple:

The importance of appreciating one's expertise and experience...because those are the results of struggles, experiments and even tears.
