BIO: Kim Tirapelle, MS, RD, CSSD
Kim is a Registered Dietitian who specializes in Bariatric Sports Nutrition. She has been working with bariatric clients and athletes for the last 18 years. Kim has worked in inpatient and outpatient clinic settings, bariatric surgical centers, and served as a collegiate sports dietitian for Division I University. She is also a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD). Kim took her passions of sports nutrition and bariatric nutrition and combined those areas to fill a void for active bariatric individuals who have fitness goals but do not know how to adjust their nutrition to match their needs. In 2022, Kim opened her private practice, Active Bariatric Nutrition where she works virtually with her clients both 1:1 and in her group programs to optimize their nutrition to meet their training goals.
