Suboxone (Buprenorphine) is a medication used to treat Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and should be part of a comprehensive treatment plan that includes counseling and other behavioral therapies to provide patients with a whole-person approach.
It is the first medication to treat OUD that can be prescribed or dispensed in physician offices, significantly increasing access to treatment.

Glutathione is a tripeptide found in most cells. It is hard to overstate the importance of glutathione, it is crucial in shielding cells from damage caused by internal and external forces. While destroying some free radicals, of greater importance is that it deals directly with the causes of oxidative stress.

Glutathione depletion is strongly associated with diseases and loss of function with aging. Meanwhile, higher glutathione levels were associated with higher levels of physical health, fewer illnesses, and higher levels of self-rated health. As expected, glutathione have been found to parallel telomerase activity, an important indicator of lifespan.

The obvious strategy is to directly administer glutathione. Oral administration is controversial; while most research shows that oral glutathione does not remain in it’s active form during the digestive process. The preferred administration methods are injections, infusions, and nebulizer treatments.
