Did you know duct tape was originally created during World War II by a mom- Vesta Stoudt,to help keep ammunition cases dry and secure? Over the years it became a household staple known for its strength, versatility, and quick fixes! Today, we put duct tape to good use in a much more creative way with a fun craft activity. Our residents enjoyed showing off their creativity and making unique creations together. Who knew a roll of duct tape could bring so many smiles?

We are proud to recognize Amber as our Associate of the Month! Amber has been a dedicated member of the Goldton team for nearly eight years, serving as a Caregiver on our night shift. During the quiet overnight hours, Amber helps ensure our residents are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Amber is known for being a hardworking and dependable team member who consistently goes above and beyond for our residents. Her compassion and attention to detail make a meaningful difference in the lives of those she cares for each night. Our residents and team members alike appreciate her calm presence and commitment to providing excellent care.
In addition to her important role here at The Goldton, Amber is also continuing her education, working hard in school while maintaining her responsibilities at work. Her dedication to growing professionally while supporting our community is truly inspiring.
We are incredibly grateful to have Amber as part of our team. Her loyalty, strong work ethic, and caring heart make her a wonderful example of the values we strive for every day.

We are proud to recognize Jack as our April Resident of the Month here at The Goldton at St. Petersburg.
Jack was born and raised in St. Louis. At just 18 years old, he joined the United States Army, where he served as a tank gunner. After completing his military service, Jack attended Cornell University, where he studied aeronautical engineering.
Jack went on to build an impressive career working as an aeronautical engineer for McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis, contributing to the exciting world of aircraft design and engineering.
Jack was married to his wife, Mary Ellen, and together they raised their daughter, Debbie, who now lives in Colorado. Jack is also a proud grandfather and loves hearing about his grandchildren.
After retiring about 30 years ago, Jack moved to sunny St. Petersburg, where he enjoyed many days out on the golf course taking advantage of the beautiful Florida weather.
These days at The Goldton, Jack enjoys spending time in the movie theater watching classic episodes of I Love Lucy starring Lucille Ball. He also enjoys a relaxing glass of wine during happy hour and loves joining our lunch outings.
