Noisy Crane Tea House Pop Up this Sunday! 🥳
We’ll be at Mala T Garden serving traditional gong fu and Japanese teas, matcha lattes 🍵, and our favorite herbal blends. It’s also the monthly 49th St. Makers Market, so you can sip tea while shopping local produce, handmade goods, herbal creations, and more. Come hang out and enjoy a slow Sunday with us!

This will be the new home of Noisy Crane in St. Pete where we will offer weekly tea service and host classes for our St. Pete tea community. This is a co- lab where several small businesses will be hosting their products and offerings. So far we have herbalist, body workers, musicians, textile artist, kava and kratom brewers and more joining. We did it!! We’re nesting in our new teahouse and getting it ready for y’all to come sip tea. 🏡

It might come as a surprise to some, but we migrated over the bridge and landed in the SoHo neighborhood of Tampa! We tried our darnedest to find a home for the teahouse in St. Pete, but nothing felt quite right.

A few months ago, Tona an avid tea drinker and creative soul from invited me to check out their charming historic sister 🏡🏡 bungalows in SoHo. I decided to test the waters and offer a few classes… and they were a hit!

The Paper Seahorse is a magical little art shop dedicated to journaling, paper crafts, and creative workshops. They’re all about embracing the analog lifestyle stepping away from screens and back into our creative spirit. Could there be a better fit for a gong fu teahouse??!

We sealed the deal over some ancient tree red tea (naturally), and I got straight to work.

Thanks to so many wonderful friends and my beloved partner the project is coming together fast! So far, we’ve painted, added shelving, moved in a 200lb cedar bar (and customized it!), and started the hunt for the perfect stools (which has basically become my full-time job 😅). There’s still more to do finding furnishings, new teaware, window treatments, and a dozen other details but it’s starting to feel like home.

This rendition of the teahouse will be more intimate and centered on gong fu teas and traditional Japanese teas. We’re creating a space to connect with the spirit of tea, your own spirit, and the spirit of community.

We can’t wait to welcome you in.

This past week I got to visit the Appalachian Mountains with my besties 👯 and drink tea with my sister of .

Shunyu just opened a culture studio in called Wu Yong Cultural Space. She offers classes on tai chi, gong fu cha, language lessons, art , and Chinese culture. She is such a bright soul, community centered, and heart centered. Shunyu offers beautiful teas that are wild harvested and taste so beautiful. We offered some of her teas at Noisy Crane Tea, and will be again in our next tea room. If you’re in Marshall see if she has events happening or reach out to her for private tastings! You’ll learn and laugh so much!!

This weekend we’ll be serving tea over at the beautiful .sanctum.apothecary & coffee bar. Marija & Adam just finished their coffee bar renovation and are graciously sharing their space with Noisy Crane Tea! There are so many cozy spots to sit and sip your tea or herbal infused coffee specials.

Noisy Crane will be offering a small select tea menu with options of gong fu, cups or pots of tea, ceremonial and our signature Ylang Ylang matcha latte 🍵. Oh and brown butter mochi muffins and wagashi of course!
