We're halfway through CDH Awareness Month! I am raising funds for Tiny Hero to provide support, resources, and hope to CDH families and their Tiny Heros! Well our week of tests have come to a close! Conclusion is as follows: Her heart is a little pushed to the left side and has a funny looking valve, but it works just fine! Dr.Kays isn't concerned. Just wants recommends another echo in 4 years. Her xray was good and clear! No rehearniation. Funny looking for a typical baby, but is as healthy as we could ask for. He also noted her pectus and said it's pretty moderate, but shouldn't or wouldn't be an issue to be looked at until she is a teenager. He said she looks good and he'll see us next year 😁 one more day in FL. Gotta enjoy it while we can. Thank you Florida and thank you Dr. Kays 🤩 idk where we'd be without you.

Hello everyone!! I know it's been a hot minute so thanks for sticking around:) this week is our one year post-op check ups and tests. We had one today and Violet passed with flying colors 🤘we have a few more this week and I'm very optimistic about everything. She is a strong little warrior. 💪

On October 8, after 25 days in the hospital, Baby Violet was discharged from the CDH unit with only 0.1 mL oxygen flow. On March 14, 2021, was her half birthday. She is still a great eater, and she has two teeth coming in. She cries when she isn't being held, but when she looks at me, she smiles big

Hey everyone! So I should have done this a long time ago, but I am finally getting around to it. We appreciate everyone's support and well wishes as Violet has gone through her journey. Violet has been a fighter and though her journey is not over, I definitely consider her victorious. She has overcome many obstacles and triumphed and I suspect she will triumph some more.
All proceeds will go towards Violet's hospital bills. We are getting bill after bill and I have barely made a dent in them so this will help alleviate some of those expenses. Plus you'll get a rockin' shirt 😉

Baby Violet had her half birthday yesterday! And it's been a year since I made my pregnancy announcement, which was also St. Patrick's Day themed. Little did I know the roller coaster that was ahead for us. But I'd do it over and over again because Violet is the happiest, sweetest, and cutest little thing and she's worth every second. She enjoys eating bananas, apples with cinnamon, carrots, and squash. She is not a fan of green beans or avacado. She can sit up on her own for a few seconds and she always wants to be held. Happy 6 months, baby girl. Love you 💜

5 months ago you couldn't breathe on your own, and now look at you. Eating and initiating your first bites all on your own! Those most be some yummy carrots.
