Petersburg is a resource for seekers and scholars, artists and creatives, students and teachers, mystics and philosophers, activists and advocates. We are a community classroom and wellness space, featuring three unique teaching and treatment rooms. Host your next meeting, performance, workshop, training, retreat, consultation or healing session with us.

“Metta” means “loving-kindness” in Pali, a language native to India (and the sacred language of Buddhism). In ship-building, the “meta-center” is defined as the point of intersection between the center of a buoyant object and the center of that object when tilted, “which must be above the center of gravity to ensure stability.”

The Metta Center provides a space for us to orient and right ourselves as we navigate the Kosmos. Because what makes the difference -- in where we are and where we need to be -- is love. HOSTING YOUR EVENT:

The Metta Center of St. Petersburg is located at 4554 Central Ave. Unit E & F in the Faith Professional Plaza. We are located in the west building of the plaza. Parking is in the back of the building via alley access. Your appointment will be in room E1. You can find E1 by parking in the back, walking up the breezeway between the central and west building. E1 is the last entrance on your left. Directions to E2 (Ganesha/The Yellow Room)

The Metta Center of St. Your appointment will be in room E2. You can find E2 by parking in the back, going to the walkway that is to your left, facing 46th Street. E2 is the last entrance on your right. Directions to F (Praxis/The Classroom)

The Metta Center of St. Your appointment/class will be in room F. You can find Unit F by parking in the back, going to the walkway that is to your left, facing 46th Street. Unit F is the third entrance on your right.
