Nina entered the medical field and built her foundation in family medicine for multiple years as a PA, where she filled the role of a Primary Care Provider. She believed this was a necessary step before opening ICON. She wanted an in-depth knowledge of general medicine to see the bigger picture when doing aesthetics. While in family medicine, Nina worked to control chronic and life-threatening illnesses. Upon beginning her injecting career, Nina had a particular vision. She knew that her artistic background and passion for facial aesthetics were the perfect combination to achieve the desired results for her community. To this day, Nina still believes that further education and training are the backbones of growth in this field. Her respect for this field has given her the desire never to stop growing. She continues to attend advanced training, observe others’ techniques, and teach what she has learned to others. After countless research into the medical spa industry and talking to friends and family about their own past experiences, Nina realized the demand for a more personalized Medspa that placed the client experience first.
