As an instructor with World Leadership School, I’m stoked about the two next weeks!
Today our first group with Menlo HS students steps into the Borderlands for a day of experiential learning, reflection, and dialogue.
Students will engage with community voices, explore the U.S.–Mexico border region, and visit spaces that hold deep historical, political, and human significance. From conversations with local leaders to standing at the border wall itself, today is about more than information — it’s about perspective, curiosity, and connection.
One of the most powerful parts of this work is watching young people move beyond headlines and assumptions to ask deeper questions, listen closely, and reflect on the complexity of people’s lived experiences.
Grateful to help facilitate spaces where learning becomes real, human, and transformative.
More reflections and photos to come throughout the day.
