Just incase you didn't know... Acupuncture and Herbal Therapies and Traditions School of Herbal Studies is open 9 to 5 this Labor Day . And we still meet folks who don't know that you can come in and purchase herbs by the gram....stop in and see what an amazing array of Western, Chinese, Ayurvedic and regional herbs we have! Come by and meet our new Apothecary Manager Jun J Bustamante . When ever you come by be sure to walk out back and explore the medical teaching gardens and pick up a plant or two to start your own garden.... its surprising how much cooler it is in the garden. You are always welcome to pull up a chair or enjoy your lunch out back (ok you can do both at the same time ;-)

Step into a lineage of healing that spans over 2,000 years. Chinese Herbalism, a core branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), views health through the lens of harmony with nature, using herbs, roots, minerals, and time-honored formulas to restore balance.

Dr. Martina Kostova is a dedicated acupuncturist at Traditions who recently earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture with a specialization in Chinese Herbal Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science. This rigorous clinical doctorate—on par with programs completed by M.D.s and Chiropractors—emphasizes advanced clinical training and the practical integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with modern healthcare. During her studies, Dr. Kostova focused on bridging the gap between Eastern and Western medical approaches, developing strategies to improve communication and collaboration across these systems to enhance patient care. Her long-term goal is to work in a hospital setting where TCM is fully integrated alongside Western medicine and other holistic practices such as massage therapy, naturopathy, and meditation. Traditions School of Herbal Studies is looking for a creative, proactive, and organized Education Assistant to join our team! This is the perfect role for someone who’s enthusiastic about herbs, enjoys connecting with people, and knows their way around digital tools.
What You'll Be Doing:

Class Support: Help with registration and support before, during, and after classes—including setting up, breaking down, assisting with herb walks, and serving teas and dried herbs.

Newsletter Creation & Analytics: Create and send bi-monthly newsletters, and track performance metrics to help us grow.

Social Media Management:

Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across our brand platforms

Co-manage our online presence by responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely manner

Monitor key metrics like engagement, reach, and conversions

Use analytics to identify trends and optimize our content strategy

Website Updates: Keep our Squarespace site up to date with current events and class offerings.

Student Volunteer Supervision: Provide guidance and direction to our amazing student helpers.

Administrative Tools & Tech: Proficiency in Google Suite is required. Experience with the following is a big plus:

Schedule:
